We are Eatfan. You could translate our Chinglish name as ‘EatRice’ but it’s also our way of saying ‘foodie’.
 
We are from China, live in London and have travelled extensively. We have discovered and subscribe to the global ‘rice is life’ culture! Whether it is breakfast, lunch or dinner, vegetables, fish, meat stews, or even hot pot, rice goes with everything. We are rice lovers. 🍚
 
Home-cooked Chinese food is full of flavour, made with fresh ingredients and very little oil. We want to bring the healthy food that our families cooked for us to more people in London. We don’t do Egg Fried Rice though (as much as we like it), sorry!
 
Who are the original Eatfans?

We are on a mission to change Londoners’ midday meals. Rubbery sandwiches and limp boxed salads are convenient but with EatFan so are Chinese Braised Pork, Kung Pao Chicken, Korean Beef Bulgogi, Salmon Teriyaki or Japanese Miso Aubergine. We know what we would prefer!
We both worked in finance before founding EatFan. In fact we started out delivering fresh and inspiring lunchboxes to Canary Wharf and built up an excellent reputation for brightening up lunch hours. Our menus are tasty, filling and low-odour, guaranteeing the jealousy of your colleagues.

We want to deliver the quality of food that we enjoy having at home. We won’t replace our core ingredients with cheaper options or substitutes as we know it will change the taste. People who have had our food before even say that it makes them homesick. Whoops! 
 
Home cooking in a modern kitchen  
Have you ever read an Asian recipe asking for a ‘pinch of salt’ or a ‘sprinkling of sugar’? Even for us, it can be difficult to find the exact flavours that we love at home. We have brought the precision of modern kitchen techniques to classic home cooking recipes. 
Building trusted relationships with suppliers and customers
EatFan opened more than two years ago. From delivering lunchboxes to office workers and university students to serving local residents at our Greenwich Peninsula restaurant, we have established trusted relationships with our customers and suppliers. This is why we love our jobs!
